Awesome handheld.

I've bought this handheld (because Steam Deck delay) at weekend with shipping to Poland. It was shipped at monday and at tuesday it was at my doors. After the setup i've tested many games and i was surprises how well they run at 10-15W TDP. Everything is working great and i'm happy with this purchase.

Amazing handheld gaming device

Such an amazing Windows 10 handheld device, great for emulation and Windows gaming. You can play pretty much evey aaa games runing at 30fps at low settings, which is absolutely fine for a small 7” screen.

Also great servcie from Droix as always. Placed the order and at around 3pm and got it next day without any problems. Highly recommended if you cannot wait for the Steam Deck.

AVOID - Liars & Cheats

Returned an item brand new, unopened and still sealed and they took a “restocking fee” off the refund just because I had returned an item in the past!!
Was told that if the item was unopened that this wouldn’t happen but it did!

I got this at £550 down from £1200-ish ... I don't see a downside with this. Great value for the money, plays GTA5 at high details 60fps smooth like butter. I would probably not spend over a grand for a gaming handheld at any hardware specs. The aya software is a bit buggy but it's not a problem

Can GPD Micro PC be configured for Windows or Ubuntu MATE during the first boot, or does it come with Windows preinstalled that must be replaced with Linux if necessary? In this case is it possible to restore Windows later? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hey, the device comes with windows but its not limited to use with it as you can install the Linux OS on it and later you can re-install windows and it will automatically active the windows for you as it comes with digital license for the Windows.
